Blessed.

Yep its true, we are expecting another sweet little baby into our family. I am 17 weeks along today. I am so excited and feel ready to take on the challenge of having 2 kids. Being a mother is all I have wanted to do since I can remember and I love it. Today I am feeling overwhelmingly blessed and grateful that we have the opportunity to be parents to another child of God. I am grateful that this pregnancy has been healthy and the baby is growing and progressing as it should. I am so excited to find out if this baby is a girl or boy. First and foremost, either will be great. I know that whichever it is, it is God's will and it will be such a great addition to our family. Secretly I would love to have a girl. I just would love to see Brig be a big brother to a little sister. And I feel that a girl will be a good balance to our family. But it would be so fun for Brig to have a little brother too, since they will be only 21 months apart. It will be fun to know so I can start redecorating the nursery and just know what to plan for!

I have had 3 doctor appointments so far. At the last appointment they tried to see if it is a girl or boy but the little thing had its legs crossed just perfectly over its "goods". Modest little thing. So now we wait until the big ultrasound to find out (February 28th). I'm actually okay with that though, it adds excitement and Nate will be at the big ultrasound so it'll be fun to have him there when we find out.

With this pregnancy I have felt a lot different. With this baby I was sick constantly for a good 3-4 weeks, then after that and currently the nausea is just really bad at nights. And I haven't thrown up once. And the fatigue has been way worse with this one. With Brig, I was sick non-stop until I was about 20 weeks along. And I threw up a lot. Also with this pregnancy I have been able to eat things like fruit and sweeter things, with Brig I could hardly eat anything sweet all I wanted with him was a steak. I am also showing a lot earlier with this one. Its fun to look pregnant now instead of chubby :)

Briggy's First Birthday

For Brigs first birthday we did a small party with our families. He wasn't too interested in digging into his cake we had to help him a bit. 

 He and I went on a walk and played at the park on his actual birthday. And when Nate got home from work we went to Kirts Drive in for some ice cream!

Summer Overview.

Making this post made me so homesick for summer...aaand its only December...5 months to go. Dang. Anyway here is a summary of our summer 2013.

This is a pool at my friends sisters house. We tried to swim as much as possible.

 Our summer project was our sunroom. We had an enclosed sunroom that we haven't used at all since we moved in. It always felt dirty and full of spiders to me. So we decided to take the walls down and make it into a covered patio. I painted the cement floors and stained the wood that we kept there.

 Nate didn't ride in Lotoja this year but we did go up to Jackson Hole and Stayed a few nights.
