Announcement!

Life has been crazy busy this year! I have so much to post about. But to start, we are expecting a baby in October! I am already 18 weeks along, almost half way done! I thought I would be one of those pregnant people who post monthly updates and pictures of me holding a veggie the size of my baby... but turns out that I have been super busy and had no time! I have been traveling a ton for work! I found out we were pregnant in February. And I say I because Nate didn't believe the pregnancy test, in-fact he didn't believe that  I really had a baby in my belly until we heard the heartbeat at our first ultrasound :). Everytime I threw-up it was when I was at work or on my way to work (yes I barfed in my car), so he never saw I was sick. He just heard me complain ALL the time about my nausea. (he was so nice about listening to me complain, such a good man :)) Oh the nausea... it was brutal! I am so grateful that it has subsided, for the most part. I never knew how hard it was to feel like I was going to throw up constantly. The only thing that helped was to eat, but I had no appetite EVERYTHING sounded awful, even water. But I wouldn't change a thing. It will all be worth it when we get to hold our sweet baby. It has been an amazing experience watching my tummy grow and seeing the ultrasounds and hearing the heartbeat. We will find out if its a girl or boy next Tuesday!! I truly think that it is a girl! I have always thought I'd have a girl first, even before I was pregnant. Nate thinks it is a boy. But he wants a girl. We will be happy with either. As long as its a healthy little babe!

Here are some pics I did get:

New house!!

We bought a house! We are so excited to be out of our apartment and have some extra leg room. Its located in North Ogden. We moved in on October 29th. We are just painting and fixing up a few things. So far, we have got the kitchen done and almost the front room. I will post some before and after pictures soon!
Don't mind the crooked picture :)

Lotoja 2011

It was another great year at Lotoja! The guys took 4th place overall! They did a great job with no injuries :) Nate did the last leg which is 46 miles. Sorry, I have to brag about him for a second, he finished in under 2 hours, (averaging about 24 miles per hour) not to mention he got the second fastest out of all the relays on his leg. He's pretty awesome at what he does!
Start line!

Nate getting ready for his leg!

The relay team (minus the other Nate) at the start!

Nervously awaiting...

Relay team (minus Jake) at the finish line!

Memorial Day in Moab

We went to Moab with a group of friends for Memorial Day! The weather was fabulous (minus the wind, as you will be able to tell in the pics)! We had a lot of fun!

Our campsite
The boys went mountain biking while the girls went road biking. We were planning on taking the boys to the top of the mountain then road biking to the farmers market in Moab. But turns out it took us two hours to take them to their start point, so we missed it. So we decided to take a bike trail that was at the bottom of their trail so we could meet up after. The trail ended up being 1.4 miles... so we rode it 4 times.. ha! Next time we will plan better, but we still had a great time anyway!

Top of the mountain, start of their trail.
The boys before their ride down.
This is us at the arch look out point. The actual trail to get there was so busy, we decided we would just go to the look out point and go to another trail for our hike.

The boys (and Isla).
Miguel, Ike, Jake, Nate, Aaron, and Miss Isla.
The girls.
me, Lindzi, Jamie, Whitney, and Rossi
This is an arch that was on our hike. It looks like it wont last much longer so good thing we have it documented :)
We also went to the swimming hole both days. Its basically a hike with a lot of pools of water and a river that goes through it. There were places to cliff jump but its not recommended. While we were there a girl jumped off the cliff and broke both of her legs and life flight had to come and fly her out. We didn't see her jump we just saw the helicopter take off. Pretty crazy. I forgot to take my camera both times! So I didn't get any pictures. But we had a great time!
